March 23-25, 2009, Washington, DC. L. S. Fisher participated in the Alzheimer's Association Public Policy Forum and visited legislators on Capitol Hill.
September 19, 2009, Memory Talk a corporate sponsor of the Sedalia Memory Walk. Distributed 100 copies of Early Onset Blog: Essays from an Online Journal to walkers.
October 3, 2009, L. S. Fisher served on a blogging panel at the Longview Literary Festival. Four bloggers served on the panel, each with different perspectives. It was a great discussion!
October 28, 2009, L. S. Fisher completed Building Creative Dementia Caregivers, a Train the Trainer Approach. The program presented by the Heart of America Chapter is designed to teach participants how to provide dementia specific training for professional caregivers.
